The variety of colors are contrasted well with the background. Visually aesthetically appealing. However, the image is a little blurry.

The image is slightly dark and appears slightly out of focus. Love the different colors, it catches the eye, makes me want to further examine.

The art of this photo is nice, good coloring and contrast. The visible flow is pretty nice. Effective use of different colors to give visible boundaries. Also, I like the clarity of the photo.

This is really cool. The timing on your photo is awesome, and the contrast is good. The clarity could use a little boost to help show the boundaries of the fluid

Cool use of the different colors and I like the way you can see the colors diffusing into the white milk. Possibly set the white value in photoshop to make the diffusing stand out more.

Nice deep colors and interesting patterns in this image. The exploration of different ways to disperse the dye in the milk adds a touch of creativity. The contrast of the colors with the white milk is nice and I like the subtle interactions of the different colors in a few places in the image.

Great color contrasts going on in your image, from the brightest white to the darkest blue. I like the choices of red, green, and blue. Seems like your focus was good too. I’m sure the little fuzziness was due to the colors dissolving in the milk.

I really like the organic shapes and flows of the dye mixed together with the comb. The natural light provides a nice touch and how it doesn’t appear to come from anywhere.

Artistically, I love the incomplete mix of colors and that there’s a flow of direction you can see. Photography wise, I would be curious to see what the rest of the image looks like. Really cool pic!

White background really helps to bring contrast to the image. However in the future you might want to try a faster shutter speed as some of the fluid motion appears a bit blurry. Maybe try and tone the light down in post processing to not have one corner overwhelm the image with light.

Art: The color contrast between the background and the colors in the liquid are fantastic.
Flow: The flow is not quickly understandable and recognized, but that gives this piece great visually interesting properties.
Photographic technique: The focus of the mixing could be a bit sharper, but the soft edges do add to the idea of motion.

I love the fluidity of this. I like how it is framed to bleed to the edges and not focused on the center. I like that the tools you used are ambiguous unless you read your description.

    – I appreciate the lack of distracting elements. Allows your eyes to really focus on the flow
    – i believe your flow is very easy to reproduce relatively
    – Your focus is very good.
    – I think you could produce a more sophisticated flow.

Interesting picture. The framing is nice, the contrast is nice. If anything could be improved i think it could be a little better focus. It also could just be the fact that it is the jpeg file and the tiff file might have sharper lines.

I think many people have played with milk soap and water, and you usually end up with fairly dramatic diffusion patterns. I like how the comb offers a a more linear diffusion pattern of the dye through the milk.

The production of this art is aesthetically pleasing. It uses non-diffusive mixing as a brush was used to mix the colors in. The use of natural lighting helped make the image more natural with vibrant colors and contrast.

Non-diffusive mixing between the milk and the food coloring give the photo a vibrant look. The focus is good and the photo is well edited. The milk looks like a pure white which also highlights the difference in colors and flows occurring.

Diffusion of colors is really cool to see in the milk. Color mixing physics is really neat to visualize against the bright white background.

Nice striking colors. The photo almost seems out of focus, but I think that’s just a result of the way the colors are mixing. The saturation was clearly turned way up, which makes the colors pop, but it is almost a little too much for me. Nice photo
