The contrast between the reflections and dark areas due to the ripples in the water creates an appealing web. Almost looks like ice. Nice color choice for editing.

The artistic aspect of this photo is nice. The contrast of the light in the ripples are nice. Nice job, using a phone and getting this picture. Good technique, with the coloring.

I like the color and bit of motion blur in the image which creates the different boundaries and what looks like contour lines.

Kind of blown away you were able to capture the ripples like this with your cell phone. The image is crisp and the color scheme makes it soothing. Good job

Amazing image! The incredible part is that you were able to set the focus so cleanly with your cell phone. I’m sure that took a lot of time and adjustment to the camera app. Great color as well!

I am amazed that this photo was taken with your cell phone. Very good quality. I like the filter that was added to the photo to make it more majestic. Great work!

I really like the blue and violet tones in this image. The upwelling surface of the water is nicely in focus and created interesting patterns and textures. It’s unfortunate the jet is not in focus but given the limitations of the equipment it is understandable.

    1. The shades of color and shapes are wonderful and exude “wet” and “water”.
    2. The flow phenomena is well established.
    3. The photographic technique is very good- if the focus on the upper ripple was tighter, the fluid phenomena may be highlighted more in the image.

This photo is very sharp and well done especially with a smartphone. I like how the photo gives the feel that there is something happening below the surface and gives a perception of the bowl being very deep. Nice work editing

This is a really amazing picture considering you captured it on a smartphone. I love how clearly the ripples can be seen. The drop is a little blurry but overall really interesting image.

The ripples created by the droplet seem very crisp in this picture. The lighting at the peaks and the purple at other areas gives the image strong contrast. I think the lighting is a bit strong in this image.

The reflections of the surface of the water has been distorted by the ripples in the water. This helped to create an interesting yet beautiful image. The dark purple helps bring out the contrast in the image.

    – I like the lighting on the water it adds a interesting lumia and reflection effects with the blue/purple colors.
    – The rippling effect has a strong influence on the worthington jet which can distract from the image a little bit.

It really looks futuristic. It must be some sort of black bowl with bright lighting from above. Really cool photo. The ripples are intoxicating.

The image is colorful and dynamic. The image captures the fluidity of the liquid well. The droplet isn’t in focus and so not the first thing I look at, but that may not have been the intent.

Good texture scene from the ripples. Different angles or lighting could help see more detail.

Well done image, the flow is vibrant and pleasing to the eye. However, in the future you might want to increase the shutter speed to help decrease some of the blurriness. Also possibly crop out the edge of the bowl in the future.

Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the water is fantastic when considering that it was taken with a camera phone.

Art: Maybe a more horizontal view would have made the jet more visible
Flow: great use of your sink to perform the fluid flow
Photography: Interesting use of iPhone lighting.

Cool photo, the ripples look pretty nice. Post processing color is a little distracting, but the image is nice and clear, and pleasing to look at.
