This is a very cool twist on the classic ferrofluid spike images. You’ve captured a visually pleasing circular droplet of ferrofluid with a nearly perfect symmetry of spikes from the magnetic interactions. I really like the use of India ink to bring a little more color into the image. It was cool when the left-hand side of the image was zoomed-in on to clearly see the red beads of ink on the surface of the ferrofluid. Great job!

I love the sprinkles of red in the image. It adds a unique effect along with the ferrofluid and the background.

Great image, I really like the contrast between the ferrofluid and the ink. The lighting really highlights the peaks in an intriguing manner, and the sharpness of this image is stunning.

Nice concept but it’s hard to see what’s going on at the zoom you currently have. When we increased the zoom in class I saw a ton of incredible details that might be worth highlighting.

Awesome detail in the spikes of the ferrofluid. Nice symmetry. I like the added red India ink but some of it is a little distracting. I really like how much detail you can see when you zoom in. It might be nice to crop it down a little.

I like the detail in this image. The ink helps highlight the spikes and defines them well. Great image!

Really clear image, very nicely in focus. The India ink is a really nice touch! The ferrofluid is very smooth and the India ink is not, so it’s a very nice contrast. The white background is a really nice contrast as well. The beads of ink are beautiful as well.

i really like how the color adds to the ferrofluid and highlights channels between the peaks. really intricate detail in the photo and different on each peak which is cool.

This is an interesting contrast to the experimental set up that we used. You managed to capture the focus in its entirety, which is a challenge I struggled with. The depth of field is a consistent challenge when shoot the ferrofluids, as it is so dynamic.

The detail in your spikes is incredible, the orange adds an interesting element and the and the lighting circle around your fluid is well done.

Wow this is cool. The colors are interesting. The focus is nice and right in the center. The lighting is good.
