The velocity and trajectory of the flow exiting the curved surface is very impressive. There may be a little too much negative space. I don’t know if the background color is really adding to the image. maybe choosing white or black.

The depth of field is perfect for the image. The reflecting lights are nice and give the image a really bright feel. It’s interesting that the reflections seem almost random throughout the stream.

Art: The contrast between the background and the stream could be a bit more dramatic, but I do really enjoy the use of sharp straight lines.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The depth of field and focus in this piece is really well done with the successful capturing of the stream and the glass interaction.

Great focus and detail of the Kaye effect. Interesting how the flow stayed uniform throughout.

The focus here is absolutely superb. The gleam and fluorescence of the stream is practically like pure oil. I am absolutely impressed with ho you managed to capture this effect. The glass you used to bounce the fluid off of is very complimentary too considering it is in focus, The color and lighting are something I would not expect. I could be wrong, but it seems like any type of lighting color would work with this image, but yellow most likely works the best. This image is one of the best I’ve seen so far. Fantastic job.

The black background and lighting in the other images is slightly more visually appealing but I actually like the single jump more because of how well the jet maintains straight directions

Nice picture, the yellow gives it a warm feel. The jets are really straight which is cool. Nice clear image.

Very nice sharp image. I like the strong lines in the image. Did you consider cropping? There are several distracting elements on the bottom of the image, and a lot of unused space at the top. Interesting choice of color.

Crisp. That is what i immediately think when I see this image. I enjoy the angle of the “bounce” and how straight the stream is after the bounce. I also like the reflections on the streams at what seems like random points

Interesting photo, the stream is roughly the same diameter throughout the picture, which is different than the other team photos. The image is very focused.

This is an interesting image. The image is clean! good focus and the single stream looks great. The background color is a bit odd and somewhat distracting.

The Kaye effect is displayed very clearly here. A black background could help the contrast of the image, but the focus is amazing.

Your streams are much more smooth and fluid than our lines. Considering that it is a similar set up perhaps the key difference is in the soap that you used vs the soap we used.

Art: I like the coloring of the photo on my screen
Flow: I really like the angle of the bounce and how straight the stream is before and after the bounce
Technique: The reflection off the pyrex is a little distracting

Soft contrast between background and flow is nice, especially with the reflections in the flow. Nice effect with the bounce looking nearly like a laser off of a mirror. The lines of the tupperware is a little distracting.

i like how crisp the flow is. looks like a piano wire that is being bent by the pyrex. nice work catching the photo with one person set up.

Really nice looking stream in this image. I really like how smooth it is and the capture of this flow phenomena are clearly visible and really makes this image stand out.

Good clear crisp focus, I like the warm coloring and the different sections of the stream that are lit up juxtaposed next to the sections that aren’t lit up.

The flow is clear. Interesting to see how having two bounces has a lot different effect than only one bounce.

The image is crisp and focused. I like how the fluid contrasts with the background unintentionally.
