A 3-D Karman vortex street behind a cylinder in water seeded with gravity fed dye injection into the wake. Experiment conducted on the ITLL flume.

    Wow! This is by far my favorite out of the Von Karman flows. Especially how the photo was edited to create a flame image. Very Beautiful.

    Great images! Nice job getting a really difficult phenomenon. There is good contrast between the white background and the injected dye, and the shedding behavior is clear and really makes the image.

    This image has cool color, and I like the solid white background. Some of the color on the right edge looks overexposed and details lost, but that might just be due to the mixing.

    Awesome visualization of this fluid phenomena. The bright white background gives this image a great contrast range and makes the blue very vibrant. Nice setup and capture!
