That’s an amazing coronet you captured! The image is sharp and the subject is in focus. Whoever thought to put a golf ball in milk?!

  • Great shot, I like that you were able to get the photo while the ball made impact but before it got covered! Unreal. Artistically it actually does look a little unreal, great work.

Nice capture. Awesome that you got it on the first shot. It almost looks like the golf ball is floating mid air. Almost wish I could see the whole corona but still well framed, and well lit.

I wish the angle was wider so the entire flow is captured. It might be interesting to study how the dimples on the golf ball effect the flow.

This is one of my favorite images. The focus of the light hitting that one dimple on the top of the ball is very cool and the flow of the liquid splashing out is captivating.

Excellent framing and focus, the scene appears suspended in time. I like the specular highlights on the ball and the fluid. The timing was incredible.

This is pretty cool. It feels very similar to the famous crown picture. Maybe if you’d capture it from a different angle it would show the crown more. The dirt on the golf ball is a bit distracting from the crown though. Great focus and exposure.

-Great representation of the flow, the crown is very neat.
-I like the colors but the dirty golf ball kind of takes away from the image.

This is a fantastic image! The splash creates a very interesting shape, and the way the golf ball looks dry in the middle of the liquid is fascinating. The image is well focused, and the cropping is well done.

This is a really cool photo! The physics of the flow are clearly visible and the image itself has great clarity. Was the golf ball not clean on purpose or was it just an after all. Overall I really like this one!

The ball looks like it’s suspended in midair. The crown effect is really nice, though the focus is more on the ball rather than the flow, maybe try a few different angles of images to capture the full effect.

Great picture demonstrating an impact region between a liquid and a solid. The coronet is highly present and pleasing to look. Furthermore, the contrast between whites is highly compelling.

Focus and exposure are spot on. The shutter speed also seems to work very well. Maybe one way to play around with this piece would be to try our different cropping styles?

Outstanding timing and focus, may gain from adding color or using a different type of ball.
