This is the shadow of the overflowing fog and smoke ring from a smoke ring creator on a white background with the light source coming from a projector overhead.

Somewhat hard to tell exactly what is happening in the photo but I really like the background color.

Seems like a murky undersea image

I like the colors but I wish the contrast was a little greater.

Lovely. Beautiful statement on ephemeral nature.

Interesting image, I like that what is pictured is the shadow of a ring. Cool approach, it would be great to see more contrast between the wall and the shadow, but I understand how they would become too similar of coloring.

Interesting image, but the smoke is difficult to see, you might want to consider messing with the color balance to make it more visible.

Nice color choices. The diagonal line of smoke helps carry the image.

The effect is cool, and the fact that this is a shadow is interesting. The flow is well demonstrated. The image seems pretty low contrast, and I’m not sure is the background is grainy or if the image is.

I think the texture of the wall really adds to the quality of the photo. It’s kind of amazing that these are shadows. They don’t look like shadows.

The blackness of the smoke ring creates a negative space that is occupied by the aqua texture of the background. How did you manage to focus on the smoke ring without losing clarity?

The fact that you used a shadow is a really cool idea. I think if you up the contrast and increase the blacks, you can get the shadow to come out more.

I like the smoke ring shadow in the top left. Focus could be improved, as well as color contrast maybe?
