Plasma physics has some of the coolest visuals I know of.  It’s the closest to Harry Potter/ magic that we can come to in the real life.  Combine that with magnetics, and we got ourselves a match made in heaven.

This video shows the interraction of magnetic fields in conjunction with plasma.  The force of the field is capable of manipulating the plasma, and when slowed down you can see the single strand of plasma rotating.  At normal speed, it looks like all one circular plasma disc.  Very cool!

3rd Place. The video looks awesome. I like the lighting and I like the background blur with the sharp focus on front

First place. I like how the video aims to be scientific before anything else, and included high-speed of the rotating arcs of plasma. I’ve never seen anything like this!

First Prize! This was super cool. Plasma visuals are always incredibly interesting, and how it interacts with magnets is something I’ve always been vaguely curious about, I just never though to look it up for some reason.
