Really nice job capturing the towering cumulus clouds. Great colors and framing.

I think this was a really cool picture and I like how the cloud almost looks like a nuclear explosion.

This cloud appears to have a lot of mass to it I really like how it fades from dark orange at the bottom to the white top. I think the power plant on the horizon helps to give it some scale too.

Wow that is intense! I’m going to be looking for these in the future, I never realized how big these clouds get. I’m glad you kept the ground in the photo, it gives a scale to everything and really magnifies the impact of the thunder cloud

The scale of this is incredible. I really appreciate including the factory or whatever that thing is on the ground, because we’ve all probably seen that thing, and seeing a cloud tower so high above it is impressive. Good horizon line too.

  • It is quite interesting to see how tall and large this could is. You van see how it rises and has an enormous quantity of water that must be held inside.

I like the plume-like nature of the cumulus cloud! It shows a consistently changing hue spectrum which is cool.

Wow! We really get a feeling of scale with this image because you include the background – I think this is super important for this image because the cloud is so big! Nice colors, too.

Very nice cloud shape, you can see the clouds rising nicely. There is a good mix of colors from the light orange to the darker blue.

This image really gives a sense of how massive cloud structures can be. The “pillars” in the lower right corner help solidify this perception.

I love the contrast between the clouds in the foreground and clouds in the background

  • This is a very “huge” image. I love the small silhouetted cactus in the bottom corner that really puts the massive size of this cloud into perspective.
