This image of cumulus congestus, stratocumulus, and lenticular clouds was taken at 7:00pm on Boreas Pass near Breckenridge, CO. The Skew-T diagram above shows that the atmosphere was unstable in Denver, but the clouds suggest marginal stability. Camera settings: f/1.8, Shutter 1/1675, ISO 52, Focal length 4.44mm

    Great image! I like your choice to capture the clouds from a distance. Even though the clouds are far away you can really get a feel of the size of the clouds.
