Hunter Miller: Best of Web 2016

I like this video of silicone rebounding off of itself separated by a thin layer of air. This video goes to show the amazing things that fluids can do that you might not expect to happen. This video made by the Center for Nonlinear Dynamics at the University of Texas at Austin. The test set up is also interesting with a rotating bath of the silicone oil to create this. You don’t need either silicone oil or a rotating bath to make this happen so I am considering trying to do something similar for my get wet project.
