I like the dark and ominous feel of the image. The silhouetted trees against the dark sky provide a very dramatic foreground and background. The patch of brighter blue seems a little out of place, perhaps the image could have been composed to just include the darker clouds.

This photo is very dark. I did a similar photo to this for the get wet photo. Making it black and white seemed to give the image more depth. With the one spot of blue, it is almost distracting to the dark and rainy feel of the photo.

I love the ominous feel you have here. The trees are very dramatic. I think this effect would have been amplified if the image was black and white. Great details and contrast.

The dark colors really add a dramatic effect to the picture. The trees incorporated in the picture really add to the picture. The blue sky in the background also adds depth to the photograph. I like the story that went along with the picture it gave the image context.

I love the way you darkened the trees in the image, dissolving most of their detail to just the outline. Not only does that set the mood of this image as gloomy, but it also focuses all of the attention to the dark cloud overhead. There is no doubt that cold and wet describe the mindset behind this image. Great job bringing that out!

A nice image of a menacing cloud. The one blue spot in the left really pops against the high contrast black and white in the rest of the image. The silhouette of the trees add another interesting element to the image. I do think a little more detail could be left in the dark part of the cloud without disrupting the mood achieved in the image.

    1. Artistically the image is great and exudes the cold and dark ambiance of your artisitic vision.
    2. The flow is well demonstrated.
    3. The photographic technique is good.

I like the way you can see the higher altitude clouds in the background of the dark cloud that dominates the sky. You can really feel like a thunderstorm is about to happen soon just from looking at the photo.

Great image with pleasant contrast, even with just a tiny amount of blue sky. Really enjoy the darkness tone on the trees.

Awesome image. 10/10 if it weren’t for that little patch of blue in the far left and the overexposed whites in the bottom-center of the image. I might have desaturated that patch of blue and messed around with the curves to bring out more details in the dark clouds.

Cool picture. It looks spooky. And the fact tha you fell in the water and were cold & wet is portrayed in this image. The trees the stark contrast of the black trees really adds to picture!

The silhouettes of the trees in the foreground is a nice artistic touch. The cloud looks nice! The little bit of blue is a cool touch, perhaps a little metaphoric, in contrast with the dark angry looking cloud.

Art: The color contrast between the background and the dark clouds isn’t great, but very dramatic which I like.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the clouds is a little blurry but is understandable. The DOF is great in this picture.

This looks like the formation of a storm on a hike that happens all the time. Feels cold in the photo and i like the way that the river provides a backstory to the photo.

Nice dark cloud gives the image a eerie feel. I like how the trees are blacked out to give the clouds more texture.
