The contrast is excellent, adding the color to the background aids in illustrating the flow very well. The focus is sharp and the image is well-resolved.

Great job using a fog machine to create vortexes! The cardboard is in great focus, and I like the idea of experimenting with an airfoil. It doesn’t look like velocities were high enough to get a visual of lit and drag, but the idea and image were great none-the-less. I also really like the color of the fog in this image, it has more blue in it than the other images from your team. Overall, great job!

Really cool coloring, the blue gives it a mysterious feel. The focus is really sharp and captures the flow well. The density difference of the fog on top of the cardboard vs the bottom is really interesting.

Tear drops are probably one of my favorite shapes, (it must be a metaphor). The colors shown here are spellbinding. I can see this image being the basis for a movie poster because it is so artistic. Speaking of artistic, I appreciate that you chose to keep the colors in line with what the teardrop shape is known to be associated with. It’s true that a different color palette would be a more experimental and unique choice, but I’m glad you chose to have a safe and surprisingly interesting image. I’m curious as to why you chose to have the tear be inverted by 90 degrees, but I don’t think it detracts from the image in any way, shape, or form.

Art: The color contrast between the background and the fluid is great, the highlighting of the fog in this piece is fantastic.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus on the fluid is very well done, especially with the amount of fog that was captured.

very chaotic looking picture. I like the choice of color being dark toward the edge and the lighter towards the cardboard object.

i really like how you turned the fog blue to illustrate the color and the effects of the fog in this image. The teardrop shape reminds me of an old time trial helmet. interesting to see how the flow isn’t uniform around the air foil. Is the jet off to one side slightly?

I really like the lighting in this image, the blue is very vibrant and deep. Neat to visualize the fog flowing around the airfoil.

Is the fog actually blue? Very cool image. Looks soft. It is acting very similar to an airfoil. Focus looks pretty good. Really cool photo.

I love the blue smoke, it contrasts well with the background. The flow can be easily seen and well defined in the image.

Really love how the fog fills the floor of this image, makes it look like a magical pool, especially with the blues. Love how white the cardboard is, really makes it stand out and emphasizes the lack of fog in the center. Really pretty picture, love all the swirls and vortexes you can see.

Your team did a great job of making some very unique and different images using the same setup. I also like that you chose a fully developed fog flow and that you made the empty space in the middle the center of focus. Good job with the colors, you gave this a unique feel without making it feel “fake”

Looks like a drop of water, I love the colors and you do a good job of lightening up the image and creating something different than the mysterious images of your teammates.

The contrast looks great! The blue hue is different than the rest of the team’s images and it’s nice to see a brighter image of the fog.

    – Great colors here.
    – I like how it looks like how it symbolizes a c-section of a airplane wing in a blue sky.

Really nice lighting, flow is shown well. The blue tinge on the fog adds a nice effect. Well focused image, cool to see the flow over the airfoil.

Really cool lighting. really works with the fog. I wish the speed of the fog was a little faster as to create more of a visible airflow around the wing. Also maybe using a more accurate air foil profile could create interesting effects.
