    Good stuff. I like that you got this done along with senior design. Wish there was a 1000fps of the 15 gpm flow. Also if you used an extension tube to get a closer shot it would be awesome.

    Interesting flow, but it doesn’t seem focused enough on the flow. It’s a challenging set-up it sounds like, but as a novice audience the second part is much more interesting as “art” to me, but both parts are really cool and obviously technically motivated at a high level!

    This is cool! It starts very slowly and the music adds to the tension. The way you explained what’s going on influences how I see the flow. I like how it goes to a really fast laser – I could see this as a tense laboratory scene in a movie. Prof. Hertzberg said to make a backdrop behind the camera to cut down reflections. I also wonder what speed you filmed at in both?

    The high speed portion is really nice, I like the framing and lighting a lot, and the music builds tension very well. The second portion has nice color and flow, but the prior high speed portion makes me wish this were high speed as well, which would also help the time resolution.

    I like how the music adds a dramatic feel to video and builds tension. The laser sheet setup makes for a very cool visualization effect with the motion blur.

    The first and second half of the video don’t really match, I wish you had gotten closer for the first video. Music is intense but makes the video more engaging.

    Nice music choice. I think the high-speed camera could have been in better focus. You should filter both clips so that they have similar coloring – maybe black&white or something to match the monochrome of the high speed camera.

    Great video, the music really adds to the aesthetic and the focus and exposure is good. While the lighting in the first shot is very moody, I would consider increasing the contrast because the flow is a little hard to see. The colors in the second shot are very different from the first and change the mood, but the flow is much more visible. There is a bit of camera shake in the second shot and it’s a bit distracting; was this shot handheld?

    The introduction with the venturi cavitation tube was a little funny, I wasn’t sure what that was. Why did you pick that shot and not one more focused on the flow? It was hard seeing the dynamics with lasers, everything happened so fast—I thought it would be nice to have s super-slo-mo video of the lasers in the flume.

    This is a really cool video and the light bouncing through all the bubbles looks really cool, I’m not sure if the music really goes with whats being shown. The light and bubbles are moving really fast while the music is really slow. The phenomena is really appealing to look at!

    Really cool video, it has some amazing physics. I think the video quality can be a bit better, but the post processing is great. Overall nice results.

    Nice music choice, it adds a different feel to the phenomenon. I think the second section with the green laser could be improved if you had the camera on a tripod, because it looks like it was shaking a little bit.

    The music seems to work well for the first part of the video, but doesn’t quite match with the second, really fast part. Maybe try having more dynamic music that changes speed? The bubbles go really fast and are almost dizzying, I wonder if you can slow the video down a bit? Cool colors and interesting idea.

    Great framing of the flow. I like the added aspect of the flashing laser. There’s something in the reflection and background of the second visualization that’s a bit distracting.

    Cool video. I liked the differing flows. Everything was well in focus, and the color balance was good. The second flow was pretty jumpy, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing.

    Interesting idea! I would maybe even try a slow mo camera to see the air bubbles a little more clearly, but I do like the juxtaposition of the different flow speeds.

    Music choice is perfect for the flow that’s occurring, makes for a relaxing ambient vibe. Make sure to minimize any reflections from glass next time, but overall, great video and exhibition of fluid motion.

    Amazing flow captured and music. The reflection on the glass is a bit distracting but the flow itself almost makes up for it

    Great image and good umbrella feature. Overall nice image. Perfect color contrast and lighting, I like how it gets somewhat out of focus on the edges.
