I like the lightness of the blue flame; however, the flow is a little hard to see.

Wish I could absorb the flow better, maybe if the image was clearer

The flow is really pretty and I like the shape it created. The colors are also really nice. I like the cropping too.

The colors worked well for this and upon second look, I like the red streak of soot production. Good work playing with focus and zoom and ISO. It really paid off – it doesn’t look too grainy. However, it looks a bit out of focus.

I like how close the image is to the subject. You get to see the small little details that you would normally not see in an image of a flame.

Great way of showing the flame created by the gin. The focus on the pool really helps show the point at which the flame starts.

The vibrant color of the flame is captured really well in the image. The pool flame effect is nice!

I wonder what causes the light blue ring that can be seen in the middle of the photo. The soot streak also adds intrigue.

Nicely done. I like the “flame surfaces” that we see, it’s cool how there are distinct changes in the blue color.

Great job using the properties of a camera to illustrate the effects of fire from a different aspect. The color of the flame is very vibrant in front of the black background which helps draw attention to the flame.

Really interesting image, I like the ethereal quality, which is enhanced by the noise from the high ISO. The color is very striking.

The color of the flame is awesome. The flame has some strange edges towards the top, but I really like the effect that you got.

Really dig the colors in this. Knowing the limitations of your camera, I think you really nailed it. The lack of focus in a few areas doesn’t detract from the image.

Great blue flame, i like the post porcessing done to make the contrast come out. It looks a bit out of focus, but overall nice image.

The flame looks really cool! I like the focus and how close you took the shot. It is done well so that you can see the flame well without the background. The image is sharp and the ISO was low enough to not make it too grainy.

Considering you used an older camera, the iso capabilities have been fully expressed in this image. Overall, great focus and contrast and great photo.

I like how ethereal it looks with the slightly longer shutter speed. Nice work.

The flame is pretty out of focus but the exposure is really nice and the colors are really good as well.

I love the streak of orange we get on the side of an otherwise blue flame. Well done.

Love the color. Try cropping the bottom out so that the flames fill the frame.

Nice demonstration of the the flame. I really like that little line of color that breaks up the blue flame.
