A low-elevation cloud captured in Boulder around 1 pm, March 3. The cloud is puffy on the left and blends into flat streaks on the right. The colors were inverted using Preview’s color adjustment tool. I calculated the atmosphere to be stable based on this skew-T diagram.

Interesting post processing, I like the white foregrounds.
Cool idea with the color inversion. It does provide great colors but it is hard to see the physics.
I like the unique display of the clouds with the color inversion. It makes you really focus on the clouds themselves.
I love the color inversion that makes the whole thing look like a sunset, I would maybe consider cropping out the bit of tree to the left.
The inversion is a great call and changes the whole feel of the image.
Your choice of inverting the colors provides a sense of warmth that is atypical of cloud scenes and is interesting.
The color inversion is a cool effect. Good framing and interesting flow.
Neat colors. Very abstract and psychedelic. Probably some planets out there that actually have atmospheres that look like that. Nice shot
I like the color inversion of the image, the artistic touch was very interesting.
The color inversion is a really cool effect but it’s a bit oversaturated.
Interesting idea inverting the color. I feel like some of the detail is lost in the very red part of the cloud. It would be interesting to see the original color image side by side with the inverted color.
Freaky inverse of the colors, but it works well. Looks like clouds from another planet.
The color inversion and cropping is cool and really shows the shape of the cloud.
