I love the detail in the image near the bottom of the flame. It is very tricky to get the right exposure of fire.

The intensity of the lower half of the flame is quite striking; what if you cropped the image such that this was the main focus?

I really love the dynamic colors in the image. I would love to see the flame more in focus and look forward to the full description of the experimental setup

Great job! The chaos of the image is really nice and the variety in colors from the combustion is very aesthetically pleasing.

I really like how big and intimidating the flame looks , it looks like a dragon spit out fire or something.

I love the color contrast. The fire looks almost “soft” closer to the torch.

The torch hitting the flour is an abstract looking phenomena that is extremely satisfying.

I like that we can see the torch and the flour before the ignition at the bottom of the picture, it is cool to see the different stages of the reaction.

Very unique application when it comes to combustion. The colors especially at the bottom are really cool, is this how the original one look or did you edit them?

Very clever set up, I’ve always found ignition of particulates in air to be fascinating. All the different colors make it very interesting and artistic, too.

The bottom half looks like a movie explosion with the different layers and colors that came from being set on fire, it’s a very cool image!

With such a fast shutter speed I’m impressed with how much motion is still visible in the image. I like the dynamic nature and variety of color as well.

Cool photo, this almost looks like a fist rising up in the air, caught on fire. This photo can have various interpretations which is great.

I really like the the blue from the blow torch at the very bottom, I think it creates a nice contrast against the warmer colors in the rest of the image.

Very smart use of flour’s flammable properties. What do you think about the graininess of the image? The definition on the blow torch flame is neat.
