Very creative way of getting interesting coloration and patterns in the fluid. I would consider doing a straight top down view with maybe a closer zoom so that more detail can be seen in the liquid. You got some really cool patterns in the liquid. Nice work.

I love the colors especially towards the edge of the bowl. I love how well they blend with each other. They remind me of colorful crashing waves almost.

I really like the colorful cloud look effect that the food coloring made with the milk.

I like the edge of the food coloring line at the top. It looks like a mountainous landscape. Very mysterious!

  • You did a good job creating a dark, neutral, non-intrusive background.

Really enjoy the different colors in this composition Cary. I think you could get more of the action up close and in focus, here. I also noticed that if you relax and stare at it for a moment, it almost feels like there’s movement. Very cool image.

I really like the way that the colors form multiple bands radially outwards. It is also cool that the brown part at the bottom looks a bit like the “fingers of creation” picture from Hubble.

I really like the colors you choose. It really gives off a galaxy/space feel to it. I also appreciate how you used milk as your liquid to show the properties of surface tension.

I like how you can see multiple layers of colors in the milk, overlapping each other! It gives great dimension

I love how the colors are mixing, however they are separated into individual layers. This is an interesting aesthetic.

How did you disperse the coloring over the milk? Was it dispersed in a certain pattern or just randomly?

I like that the milk is the same color as the bowl. It makes it look like it is transparent. It reminds me of like an inverse-color picture of outer space.

Beautiful colors you captured here. Love the parts where the colors begin to blend with each other.
