Food coloring in milk that has been dispersed by adding a drop of soap to the center. The soap reduces the surface tension of the milk, which pushes the food coloring toward the outside of the plate where the surface tension is relatively higher. This is known as the Marangoni effect. I was originally unhappy with the shadow in the bottom right corner, but it kind of looks like the body of an imaginary person with the center of the plate as the head, so I kept it.

Well done with the colors, Bryce! They turned out great. I also found it interesting how the outline of the shadow has colors similar to that on the plate. Very cool!
This is a very interesting photo, especially the colors you were able to get out of it. I really like the gradients of the colors that seem to flow seamlessly into one another. I also like that you include the plate in the frame to give a great perspective of the scale of the flow that matches the milk really well.
I really like the colors of this picture – it reminds me of the colors of a CD. I like the defined boundary of the circle and how you chose such contrasting colors so we can easily see the boundaries between different sections of flow.
