Cumulus Humilis clouds taken from the Highway Overlook in Boulder, CO on August 23, 2021 at 7:42 PM. Based on the Skew T diagram below, these clouds were most likely between 4km and 6km and the CAPE value makes the system marginally unstable. This photo was also taken at sunset and captures the warm orange and pink tones of the summer sunset. These clouds were also above the Eldorado Mountain area and may have had some interaction between the higher elevation mountain wind and lower elevation wind toward Boulder.
