A smooth lenticular altocumulus cloud formed by mountain wave lift above dissipating cumulus remnants over the Colorado Front Range. The Skew-T indicates minimal CAPE (around 150 J/kg) and a modest inversion, confirming a stable atmosphere consistent with lenticular cloud formation.

Captured on September 21st at 7:06 pm MDT at 40°02’18.5″N 105°20’04.7″W (~2,500 m elevation) and facing towards the west.

Great cloud! If I can offer an opinion about the post processing, I would love to share: I think that keeping the mountain dark and not brightening it (I assume you did) could add some value to the image because the nearly black shillouete of the mounatin is visually appealing (to me). I do like the shade of blue you changed the sky to, though!
