Joshua Keller – Stable Altocumulus

Joshua Keller – Stable Altocumulus

Attached below are the Skew-T and ECMWF model for Oct 4, 6:00 PM MDT. This photo was captured near the CU Boulder East Campus at 6:54 PM MDT on Oct 4. The clouds smoothly increase/decrease in size in all directions, and are generally small and scattered. The atmosphere is stable, but very close to unstable. These characteristics are indicative of an altocumulus cloud.
