This looks like a big string of taffy. The colors are so vivid and compliment each other well. The reflection on the top of the image is really cool (possible my favorite part).

Really extraordinary image. My only feedback is working on your lighting. you have done such a great way of capturing this cool flow, taking it that mile with regards with lighting would undoubtedly make this image professional quality.

Nice experiment and interesting effect. The sharp focus and black background make this image. The path of the paint is not what I would have predicted.

what a great shot. the lighting being only on the paint. Excellent post processing by blacking out the background and keeping the ripples at the top.

    1. The image is artistically fantastic, and I like the Colorado flag colors.
    2. The physics are well shown.
    3. The photographic technique is excellent and the post-processing to remove the fish tank and make the background black really improves the image.

I really like the different colors how they were dumped into the water at the same time. I enjoy how the paint does not just trail downward but at some parts seems to move upward. Very clean background. I would try and get rid of the reflection. Great photo though.

The contrast between the layered/ribbon effect of the paint and the infinite black background is what really makes this photo! You may consider cropping the top of the image downward just a little but such that you cannot see the reflection. Up to you though, very appealing image!

Fantastic image. The folds and contortions of the ribbon of paint (along with the shadows and bright areas) add an enormous amount of dimensionality to the image. The colors are beautiful and the contrast is stunning. I really like how the ribbon starts to break in certain points.

Whoa, what an image! My favorite part is actually the little bit of splash you can see at the top, and the streaming of the layers. Great work with the nice sharp black background and the bright, nonreflective colors.
