A video visualizing the vortex shedding behavior that occurs when a blunt body is placed in a flowing fluid. An obstacle in the shape of a sine wave was placed in a flume and water flowed past it. Dye was injected through a hole in the body to visualize the Kelvin-Helmholtz Instability.
Food coloring mixed with rubbing alcohol injected into the flume over a two-wave widget.
