Very Ansel Adams like mountain scape photo. I appreciate the choice to go black and white. You achieved the contrast necessary for this style of filtering

I love, love, love black and white mountain-scapes like this. Great job keeping the details in both the clouds and mountains. I feel cold just looking at it.

This is a fantastic image! I really like that it is in black and white. The motion in the clouds is obvious and intimidating, but the mountains do a great job of grounding the image. Incredible job!

The black and white choice is interesting, but worked out very well for you here! Love the display of the mountain range as well as the clouds… Winter is coming!

Excellent scenery in the image, the diverse topography adds the the various cloud formations present in the image. If you were most interested in the area above the sharpest peak, a you described in class, then I am curious what the image would have looked like if you had focused on the area of interest more specifically.

Wowww. The mountains absolutely make this image. In general I don’t like making cloud images black and white tones, but this image changes my mind. I really like how far up the clouds go into the sky. Great photo.

Black and white does wonders for this image, especially with the light snow on the mountains. Possibly crop up just a hair to the point where snow starts on the mountains. Nice contrast, and well focused image.

The sharpness and focus of this image makes it amazing. I like the slight glow occurring on the boundary between the sky and mountains, and the dynamic feel of the image.

Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the clouds is fantastic. I love the post processing done with this piece, the contrast with the mountains they are kind of highlighted.

Very nice work! The black and white works quite well here, with the clouds contrasting with the sky and the snow contrasting with the peaks. Good use of the full range of brightness.

The black and white of the image is really nice. Provides a striking feel. Cool how the left side of the sky is mostly void of clouds in contrast to the right side of the sky.

Good work with the black and white manipulation, looks great. I think using a filter, or upping the contrast, could have brightened up some of your whites. As is, the photo is a little grayed out, but still striking.
