    I like the video and I think that the flow is very interesting but I think that you should take yourself out of it as it detracts from the overall video

    Very cool! The effervescent tablet in the blue food coloring and water/oil looked like a wave. If you zoomed in to the wine glass, that could be better. Also I think the white balance could be improved.

    I really love the initial part of the blue dye sinking through the oil. It is interesting that the plume is asymmetric. The background and framing could be more simple and centered. Such a fascinating phenomenon.

    There were some really interesting phenomena in the plume from the tablet. I wish the glass itself were better resolved, since it’s difficult to make out exactly what’s going on. Otherwise I liked the lighting and composition and as with the other, the hard shadow/line on the backdrop is distracting.

    The asymmetric flow of the food dye is interesting. I liked how you slowed down the video to emphasize this.

    Good fluid visualization. I enjoy how the video was slowed down to see the alka-seltzer tablet as it assymetrically flows over.

    I like how the tablet leans to one side was a nice effect. I also like how this one sticks to one color. Some cropping to make the subject take up more of the frame would be nice.

    I like the music, but the background is kind of distracting. Using a better backdrop might be more worthwhile!

    Good flow. The colors and uneven bubbles helped highlight the flow well. The background was a bit distracting, and the video could be cropped a little bit more.

    Nice choice of music. The flow is shown very well in the video. The sheet in the back is really distracting, have you considered either zooming in on the glass and cropping the sheet? Or possibly using a smoother background.

    Nice effect. The music goes well with the video. I like how all the lava lamps are different. Focusing just on the glass would have made the effect more mesmerizing.

    This video is so fun! There are several different fluid physics happening at different intervals of the video. The video has a dynamic range of emotions as a result, from the solitary bubbles at first, then the rapid dissolution of the tablet. The fluid physics are clearly illustrated due to the colors in the fluid moved around by the various forces interacting in the glass.

    I really liked the asymmetry of the plume coming up on the side of the glass. I would have cropped the video and done a different lighting and background.

    I really like the effect shown. Maybe if you extended it out so that we can see more of the fluid motion itself. And maybe adjust the focus / resolution of the video.

    This video demonstrates a very interesting flow phenomenon, and I like how you show the setup at the beginning. The music definitely enhances the video. I personally find the wrinkles in the background slightly distracting, in the future maybe you could consider using a more homogeneous background or making the glass larger in the frame.

  • Great video, I like that it shows all the steps to sort of build up the suspense for the final product. It also helps me understand what’s inside the glass which makes it easier for me to understand what’s going on in the video. I like the colors and the lighting from below the glass.

    Really cool flow visualization experiment. The mix of colors and lighting make the image very aesthetically pleasing. I like how you showed every step in the process of this experiment. You could crop the video to get rid of most of the background to make the experiment the main focus of the video.

    Real great use of lighting in the video. I think a blank white wall might have improved this image a bit more. The colors are really great.

    This is stunning. The bright lighting at the bottom really makes the colors pop. The music is beautiful and goes with the video very well.

    The flow physics are very visible and the video itself is very clear. There is great detail in the drops and it is pleasing to look at when the lava lamp activates.

    Video demonstrates flow well, could focus on the glass more and cut yourself out a bit to make it more artistic
