I enjoy the lack of symmetry with how the candies are placed around the edge of the bowl. The fact that they aren’t all in a clean line is nice.

Inverting the colors in this image was a great idea. It really makes the whole scene feel more vibrant and alive. Great colors in the end result.

What a neat idea! It’s interesting that although the boundaries between colors blur together somewhat, you can still see a distinct trail behind most of the M&Ms.

Play with the replace color feature in Photoshop, it’s very useful for replacing unwanted aspects of the image

This kind of reminds me of a whirlpool because you can see everything gravitating in towards the center. I also like the isolation with the background.

It is really interesting how the m&M melted in the water. Also I like your edit, looks like a gate of some sort.

I love the colors of this! I think it would be cool to have a pattern in the colors to create more of a design. But I think it was really smart to invert the colors!

How long did it take for the colors to run like this?

Really love the spiral effect of the color in the water and how all of it was just created by melting M&M’s in water.

Very interesting use of a simple candy to visualize the flow of the hard shell dissolving into the water. Great choice to invert the image, the colors really stand out!

  • The color effect is really cool! I thought at first that the result was because you used a blacklight so its cool to see that it’s a result of color inversion.

Really love the way the m&m’s leaked into the water. And I really loved how you chose to invert the colors, I think it demonstrates the phenomenon very artistically and beautifully.
