This image is taken of watercolor paints on a mirror. Water was highly saturated with pigment, then dripped in, to create an image displaying the motion and depth of the fluid. A light was shone very closely on the mirror to create some backlighting that would illuminate the pigments, and display the layers of colors.

Awesome picture, Jillian! Really like what you were able to do with the colors here. The mirror makes for an awesome effect! Great job in post production as well.
I like the variety of color that you chose to use here. I think pouring the colors onto a mirror was a great choice for this photo using an interesting background to give the photo more depth!
I really like the mixing and swirling of the colors. It makes a very beautiful photo.
I really like how the mirror caused a back lit effect. It really helped the colors pop. I also like the little bubbles created in the top right. It kind of gives off a galaxy feel due to the color pattern around it.
The colors in this along with the sparkles make the flow extremely visually pleasing. I also appreciate the contrast that the darkness of the mirror creates under the watercolor.
This is a very beautiful picture. All of the mixing colors look great, and the dots scattered through the fluid make the image look like it is of something in space.
Love all the colors you used! Its vibrancy defines the image in a great way.
I love how vibrant the colors in this image are! I love your choice to put the watercolors on the mirror.
I love the color selection in this photo and the contrast between the colors and the black background.
