This image shows how the plant material flows around knots in the tree during trunk growth. The density of the grains are inversely proportional to growth rate, and the profile of these grains around the tree knot is similar to how air behaves around an airfoil.

Looking at the organic flow of nature is a really neat take on this assignment. This image is also super sharp and well composed. Nice!
