Is the image too dark? – Maybe, but there is a strong diagonal, below which there is a homogeneous distribution of droplets. I personally like dark images, they make the viewer study the image more. The top of the image has the vertical stream and the leaves, but overall is very dark.

I like the choice to include the bee and leaves. It took me a long time understand that I was looking at a stream of water plunging into a pool. I think a higher shutter speed and more light could help make the fluid effects more visible.

The cool light makes the image look as if it were taken in the moonlight nice job.

I really like the composition of this image! The lighter section occupies the lower section of the image under a strong diagonal, and the upper portion remains obscured except for a few splashes of color.

I love the contrast between the bright colors of the leaves against the dark background. It looks to me like the leaves are floating off into an abyss.

I love the bee included in the image, s/he adds an element of interaction and reminds us that the physics of the flow is a real-world phenomenon. In response to your question about the lighting, I think the overall lighting is compelling but I would recommend playing with different aperture sizes and adding artificial lighting to avoid the graininess present throughout the picture introduced by a high ISO setting.

I really love the hues of the colors of the bee and the leaves. They are very complimentary and aesthetically pleasing.

I like the lighting effect on the pebbles in the fountain. The bright balls are a nice contrast to the dark background.
