Anders Hamburgen // Clouds Second

Cirrus clouds above the foothills interrupted by airplane contrail. Taken October 25, 2022 at 5:39 PM.

The skew T shows a CAPE of 0 indicating atmospheric stability, which concurs with my observation of stable, cirrus clouds.

I like how dark the trees are in the foreground, makes it look like a sillhouette.

I like the composition, but I think you need to make up your mind for the exposure of the trees. Do you want us to see them or not? If you do, raise the brightness, I think they look good! If not, then crush the blacks, we don’t need them. Regardless, I like the photo.

Incredible cirrus capture. The pattern in it almost looks like brushstrokes or fur

This is such an awesome photo! I love the variety of clouds that you captured and the contrail adds so much depth to the photo!

This is so cool because of all the different layers with totally different textures!

I like the texture in the high-altitude clouds as well as the separation seen down the middle.

Lots of cool texture! In the top right middle it almost looks like there is a vortex. I feel like this image really shows a lot of air movement in the atmosphere, its very cool.

I think the airstream cutting across the whole picture is super interesting. Good variety of clouds as well!

I like how the contrail divides the two halves of the cirrus clouds. The thin ripples are very interesting.

I really like this image because of the contrast in brightness of the sky versus the ground. You did great job capturing a time at which the sky is brighter during sunset.

The airstream is fantastic. I love the little puffs of clouds in the top right. The sun hitting those clouds shows a magnificent color contrast!
