This image was captured on September 30 at 0647. This cloud image was taken along Guanella Pass in Colorado along the trail to Mt. Bierstadt, the classic Colorado 14er. This image was taken with an iPhone 12 Pro. This cloud resembles a series of altocumulus clouds gathered together in the sky. These clouds were stand alone and not a part of a greater cloud formation. The image was taken at sunrise which was perfect timing to exemplify the sunrise pink and red colors on the clouds. The atmosphere was stable at the time of this cloud image due to the convective available potential energy (CAPE) equaling zero for this skew-T plot.
