My Best of Web nomination is from Rob Drevno. This ferrofluid and India ink composition is incredible and almost otherworldly. The colors, forms, and composition is fantastic and your eye is drawn all over the image. It also looks like a bubbly sunflower which I think might be intentional, but if it isn’t that’s what I think of it.

Third Prize: The organic shapes in this really attracted my attention, as well as the contrasting colors. The composition of this photo is very satisfying, and I noticed that the focus is very sharp. This is one of the most creative flow vis applications that I’ve seen.
First Prize, the unique colors and variety of geometric patterns that have been captured are very appealing. Additionally, this type of image looks like it would be very hard to reproduce and require a lot knowledge about photography.
1st prize! I really like the vibrant colors in this image. The texture of the ferrofluid looks great in contrast to the “petals” surrounding it.
Second Prize: I love both the colors and physical appearance of the image! I also agree that it looks like a sunflower.
Third prize! The colors of this image are absolutely stunning! The use of ferrofluid to add texture to the blue part (which my eye was drawn to first) is super cool.
Second Prize; I have only seen videos of ferrofluid with magnetic particles, but never an image that displays such intense contrast. I found this visually satisfying as well.
