This photo was take at Mirror Lake in Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming which is at about 10,500 ft or 3,200 m. This cloud appears to be a cumulus congestus and was to the south. The weather around the time of this photo was a bit odd with small batches of hail falling from these dense clouds followed by scattered sunshine. Judging by the skew-T plots and how this cloud is cumulus, the atmosphere would probably be considered unstable.

I also chose to include the skew-T plots from both Grand Junction and Riverton because Medicine Bow is right between these two stations.

Great location for a capture! That definitely looks like a congestus building off the peaks.

I like how chaotic the clouds are, with no clear starting or stopping point, which is confirmed by the unstable skew-t.
