This photo shows grenadine mixing with lemon-lime soda (a Shirley Temple). The two fluids differing densities refract the light in interesting ways and allow you to see the swirls made as a spoon is pulled out of the glass.

Hi Avery, I think this image almost looks like the bunching/wrinkle patterns of a sheet after you get out of bed. Very interesting how this similar pattern appears in a completely different medium. I love the monochromatic theme of this image as well.
