I like how in this image you can see the stable emulsions around the edge and then the mixing and swirling in the center.
Great image Zach! I know that you said you had issues with your camera settings and battery, but I still think that the image shows the flow phenomenon well. If you hadn’t mentioned that you changed the color of oil from yellow to blue in post processing, I would have never known! I think that I prefer the blue to the yellow.
I really enjoyed the post-processing that you’ve done for this image. The inclusion of the glass edge gives the photo a cool geode effect, almost like one of those coasters you can purchase. Wonderful photo and great editing techniques!
