This image shows a vortex ring produced by pushing gas and water vapor out of a small opening in a cup. The carbon dioxide gas and super cooled water vapor are generated as dry ice sublimates in water. In this shot, the vortex ring was moving toward the camera before falling on to the LED light at the bottom of the frame.

This smoke ring is super clean. The shape came out really nicely against the dark background.

I love how you captured your image! It looks almost jellyfish-like to me

The blurry vapor behind the vortex looks good and makes the vortex ring really pop!

I really like the large amount of vapor that is visible in the image.

You captured the vortex and gas very well. The right hand side of the image nearly looks like a guitar!
