I really enjoy the coloring in your image! I think that it’s very cool that you have almost the entire color range. I think post-processing that you’ve done really highlights the sunrise and the underside of your cloud.
I really like the lighting in this image, really helps to bring out the interesting shapes on the edges and the bottom of the clouds. I also really like the inclusion of the trees on the bottom to help with a sense of scale.
Nice sunrise picture Cody! I think that you were right to question the cumulonimbus. Like you said, it looks like it could be stratocumulus. That lines up with the skew t as well — the clouds might be around 4000 meters. The lighting allows the viewer to see the underside of the clouds very well.
I like this picture a lot, especially because it is at sunset. The bright warm colors contrast very well wiht the cool clouds in the top of the image and you did a good job at capturing this. Very stunning!

I think the fact that you were able to capture the colors of the sunrise really added a unique element to this photo.
