1:25 PM on August 27th, 2025 taken off the side of one of the engineering towers, facing south.
The cloud types visible are mostly cumulus, with a cumulonimbus cloud behind the mountains, getting ready to rain on Boulder.
From the Skew-T, the conditions are very unstable.

Great capture, you can clearly see the towering cumulus building over the mountains with an embedded cumulonimbus prepping for a storm. The unstable profile from the Skew-T definitely lines up with what the clouds are showing over Boulder.
Really cool example of unstable clouds before an afternoon storm.
