This image was taken on November 24 at 2:27pm at Parkside Park in Boulder CO facing westwards. We have stratus type clouds stretching through the sky that then transition to lenticular shaping often seen above the mountains.

The skew-T diagram of Grand Junction Station taken at 12pm on the 24th supports the presents of stratus clouds in a stable atmosphere. This skew-T was sourced by the University of Wyoming atmospheric science department.

I think the smoothness of the clouds is really visible in this photo which is an interesting aspect to capture.
I like the darkness of the mountains contrasting with the lightness of the sky.
