Laminar flow of water out of a water balloon. We constructed a laminar flow using duct tape and a latex balloon filled with water. The surface tension of the balloon was held in place by the duct tape creating a permanent exit, and the increased pressure from the water inside led to a high enough force for the water to exit through that hole in a laminar fashion. As an interesting note, you can see how the laminar flow bends light in this image. Notice that the sky and grass are inverted within the stream.
