There is something inherently fascinating in a truly magnificent storm, its presence is a heavy ominous thing hanging over our heads, their growing frequency hammering our impact on the world every time one swirls into being. The sheer scale of the three and their swirling clouds when compared to the human cities below perfectly encapsulate an idea of humanity against nature, that as much as we may run from it, we are a part of it. That one action, or one phenomena may have such prolific effects on a grand scale, even when by its lonesome it may seem meaningless.
The self growing feedback loop of a hurricane along with the pressure and temperature interactions that allow the storm to form are fascinating to me, that something designed to equalize and balance what is on earth can cause this much chaos. That and the technologies to track, simulate and predict these storms produces some stunning visuals in a way most people can understand.
