At the SEEC parking lot in Boulder (on September 29, 2025, 11:57 am), I was able to capture both Cirrus and what appear to be Stratocumulus clouds simultaneously. I was facing southwest and aimed my camera just above the horizon. A sounding was performed just at this time in Grand Junction, which shows a fairly stable atmosphere (CAPE = 0.00), although some potential instability at around 600 mb, which could correspond with the Cumulus clouds. A sounding earlier in the day (9/29/25 00Z) had some weak instability (CAPE = 52.85) which could have resulted in the formation of clouds at around 600 mb and 300 mb.
