This image shows cumulus clouds hanging over mountains, facing North-West at Lost Gulch Overlook in Boulder, CO 12/1/2025. It was taken at approximately 3:08 pm MDT. The atmosphere appeared to be stable, however slightly unstable near the mountains given the cloud formations over the mountains, and the small amount of snow seen the night before. The CAPE from the Skew-T plot also indicates a stable atmosphere.
