Interesting cloud shape! what were your settings, because it appears either slightly off focus and noisy.
This is a very unique image, I really like the shape and color of the cloud. The overall image has a very calming tone.
What a great range of color captured. I think the cloud could be brightened up a little. I love that the cloud is all by itself; I definitely understand the sorting hat reference. :)
I really like the colors in this photo. One comment I would make is that the photo is a little fuzzy which is a little distracting. Great work!
Very interesting cloud. It we be interesting to understand what in the atmosphere caused the structure to be the way it is e.g. what caused the negative spaces in the cloud? To really gain insight into this cloud I think you’d have to watch how it evolved with time. If you took a few photos over a range of time you may be able to get some insight into this.
Awesome job capturing a cloud and realizing that the cloud looks like the sorting hat from Harry Potter. You’re exactly right! As soon as you said that, I see it too. It has the face and all. I like that you captured a single cloud right at sunset. There is nothing else in the image to distract from the fluid flow at hand. Great job focusing and adjusting the light intake to get this image toward the end of sundown.
Hufflepuff! I like how you chose this one because you related to it through HP. I like the top of the cloud and how it looks as if its drifting into the wind.
1. Very artistic image, and the purple hues in combination with alluding to Harry Potter is cool.
2. The flow is clearly demonstrated.
3. The photographic technique is very artistic- the purple works very well.
I like how unique this cloud looks. The colors used in this image really help bring out details in the image.
nice photo. The colors are nice and well resolved.
If you’re shooting in raw you can sacrifice some light for a sharper image and then bump the exposure up in post processing. Great shot though, definitely looks like the hat from Harry Potter.
I like the change in approach for clouds, as this was taken when it was dark out. Clouds that look like things are my favorite. The purplish tint adds to the fall theme and mysteriousness as we slowly approach Halloween.
The cloud seems like a rain cloud. The image is unique as the cloud is dark with blue skies compared to most images with white clouds. Adds contrast as well, comparable to white clouds
Funny image of the Harry Potter hat. The cropping is nice where there are no other distractions in the image.
Really cool cloud! It looks dark and ominous. The purple/pink tint is a beautiful contrast with the blue sky. The face is pretty spooky.
I really like the purple tones in the cloud. The face adds a cool effect to the photo!
Really like the seclusion of this cloud. Super interesting shape and the sky looks really nice in the background.
I like the color and the contrast. I like the face in the cloud!
Beautiful contrast of the blue background and the dark grey cloud. Nice detail and focus. Interesting shape. Cool that you were able to get a single cloud by itself.
Surprising Color of the Cloud. Great Focus. Wonderful and Enjoyable photo
This cloud is super interesting. To me it looks like someone bending over with a hood on with legs and arms outstretched. I like the color that is added from the sunset giving the effect and nice work to get the photo with minimal blur and a long shutter speed
Interesting color going on here. Nice isolation of the cloud itself, good representation of the fluid flow. The blur seems to help add to the effect.
Nice photo, I like the fact that you isolated a single cloud, not many images we’ve seen like that. Some pleasing colors as well, although the image isn’t super sharp and could probably use a little more contrast.
he slight purple tint on the front side of the cloud is visually appealing. The top of the clouds sort of looks like it has creepy eyes. The gradient of color in the sky is nice. It looks like you might want to try turning the ISO down a little in the future, it looks like this image has some grain issues.
Art: I really like the color contrast between the changing colors of the trees and the bright sky.
Flow: The flow is quickly understandable and easily recognized.
Photographic technique: The focus of the Clouds is great, and the depth of field was also very well done.
– Great single taken photo of this cloud.
– I imagine it being difficult to find a single dark cloud like this.
– The colors show well and are not too busy or plain. It definitely makes me think Zeus is going to pop out of there and throw a lightning bolt down!
