Here we publish the work of all students for each assignment: an image or video link, and the accompanying report that describes the intent of the work and the physics involved, to the best ability of each student (note that they have varied backgrounds in art and science). The primary arrangement is by the year the class was taught, and by the assignment, but there are additional categories you can browse based on the fluid physics and the flow visualization technique, over in the sidebar on the right.
In a given year there are six assignments: Get Wet, where students start to explore flow vis on their own at home. Later they are placed on teams for three assignments, where they help each other and share resources, but each student is responsible for their own image or video. There are also two assignments to photograph clouds (a fabulous form of flow visualization!), which students do on their own.
