Great picture! The deep blue contrasts nicely with the cloud and you have a good sense of detail in the cloud. Maybe consider taking out the treetop, it doesn’t add much and is a little distracting.

Beautiful photograph. Great contrast with the clear blue sky in the background. Possibly crop the tree out of the bottom right, or include more surroundings to get a sense of scale.

The towering cumulus is easily depicted in this photo. The blue skies and white clouds contrast nicely.

The detail captured is unreal. I love the deep, almost painting-like blue of the sky and how it compliments the white of the clouds. It has a very happy feel.

Very nice picture, it has very blue skies and very white clouds, which is very visually appealing. The stacked cumulus clouds are very cool.

Great job capturing a towering cumulus cloud near the Visual Arts Complex at the end of summer. I like the edits that were made to highlight the detail in the clouds via the contrast between the puffy white and the darker shadows. The depth of the blue sky is also well represented.

Nice image of a towering cumulus cloud. The textures on the cloud appear to have been captures well in this image although it looks like the website applied a compression to the image that left it looking blurry. Maybe you could upload it as a featured image at higher resolution. The deep blue in the sky is really appealing and the softer texture of the clouds on the left offer some nice contrast with the subject. Given that only a small amount of the top of one or two trees made it into the bottom of the frame I think it may be worth exploring either cropping those elements out or using clone stamp to remove them.

The detail in the clouds is what makes this image, I love how the clouds seem to blow up and your focus is on point. The color contrast is also pretty cool. Nice observation of flow and cool technique.

This cloud image seems to have a great dynamic in how it is growing. Half of the the cloud is in the picture, but it is the part of the cumulus cloud that is still young and is continuing to mature. The formation almost seems to resemble the head of a man. As far as artistic merit goes, I appreciate the fact that you captured a smaller cloud to accompany the cumulus cloud to give it scale and scope. The way the sun shines in from the left makes it very picturesque and noteworthy to even be a part of a calendar collection or gallery of sorts. Well done.

When you add the image as the “featured image” on flowvis.org, it ill show your image in much better focus. You achieved a very interesting. almost aerial view, of the cloud formation. I appreciate your large depth of field and clarity.

Nice choice burning the shadows so the details in the cloud stand out more. Good composition as well, the clouds in the left side of the frame are slightly blurred so they don’t remove attention from the main puffy cloud.

    – Interesting photo I like the color contrast between the blue and white it looks very clear.
    – Only critique I have is to perhaps crop it a little since you can see the top of that tree in the bottom right

I appreciate how the vivid and deep the blues of the background are. The little tiny bit of tree in the bottom right is a little distracting form the image. I should be easy to crop/edit that out. There are some pixel artifacts around the towering portion on the right side.

The cumulus cloud on the left really makes this image. I also like how you can tell that the sun in left outside the image to the left because of the lightened blue. Bringing out the color was a smart choice.

Very crisp image, well focused. Nice deep blues. Possibly crop in a little from the left, I think that might help the image pop more.

Beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds. I like the detail in the clouds. Nice angle, makes it seem like you took it higher in elevation.
