The boiling looks amazing! It looks like a mushroom and weird irregular clouds. The picture is well in focus and the refraction, not the color or diffusion, is what makes the picture.

  • Really great visualization of the boiling water here. I really like that you’ve gotten close to the subject. The dust is a little distracting to me but overall it doesn’t take too much away from the image. It is really high quality and captures a very cool phenomenon.

The focus seems good in addition to a well done exposure. I love the shape and texture of the air bubbles. Would love to see how may different kinds of bubbles you can make.

Awesome picture. I really like the lack of bright colors- it makes it different from most of the images we see. Could be cool to see a close up of one bubble.

This is pretty cool. The close up makes it really good and I think having the image a bit dark as it is makes it great. Great focus.

Focus is clear and subject is front and center in the image. Overall, you’ve captured the fluid flow perfectly.

Wow! I love how clear the bubbles are in this photo. The bubbles are so in focus they almost seem solid. Great composition.

I like how you can see the bubbles propelling up the left side. The contrast works well so that you can see the bubbles.

The water bubbles look very crisp which is unexpected. So good job capturing such a distinct texture and moment in time. The lighting you said is a bit off but I think it helps.

The bubbles are captured nicely, with interesting surface effects and shapes. They almost look like tin foil in places. Nice focus and composition. The background is a little distracting, but I’m not sure a white background would do as well a job showing off the diffusion through the bubbles.

Cool shapes and good shutter speed to get this shot. Maybe a cleaner glass would look better but still looks good.

Great focus and exposure control. I think the pot looks a little bit dirty, but it doesn’t detract from the photo.

    Art
I like the jelly fish structure in the bubbles :)
    Flow
You captured some cool effects! We see surface tension pulling the bubbles, creating instabilities, and there are capillary waves captured in the surface of the bubbles.
    Photographic Technique:
The sunlight reveals the bubble contours—nice!

Awesome capture. Love the mushroom bubble. Exposure is a little low but the focus and composition are great. I wonder if the background could be changed for even better refraction in the water. Something like a checkerboard? Anyways awesome picture.

I really like the boiling water motion. The one that looks like a mushroom is cool. The lighting is pretty good considering you could only use sunlight.
Maybe cleaning the container to get right of that bit of dust would help the image.
