I did not use any post processing in this image, so this is the original. I have since learned how to use post processing and will use it in my future images.

Nice relaxing photo with good composition and texture.
The photo has a very strong soothing feel, unique in the sense that it’s very natural compared to most of the other images. Awesome focus on the whitewash!
Nice calm picture, I think it could be saturated green to bring out a better aesthetic, but the flow is very nice to look at.
The clarity of the water and the focus of the image are both really nice. I wish the more turbulent section of the flow was more time resolved.
This is nice contrast to the other river photo, much more powerful flow, and a good focus, though I don’t see the face. The impact of the waterfall generates some nice chaotic flows as well.
I like that water passes the rock very smooth. I also like that the end of water flow forms bubbles.
The natural aspect is great and the focus emphasized the clear water!
Like how the water covers the ‘face’ like a smooth sheet. Maybe adjust the colors so that it’s more apparent
I really do see the face. Nice flow of water, so clear, and you can easily see the streamlines of the flow.
I liked the clarity of the image, and when someone pointed out the face in the image it made it much more interesting. The image is shot well and I think it focuses well on what you were trying to capture
Great way of showing the water flow. Its awesome that there is the essence of a face appearing from under the water.
I like how you can see the flow turn from laminar into turbulent. (And the face underneath is pretty cool too)
I like how this shows many different aspects of water flow. This way that the water goes from stream line flows to crashing is a nice balance.
Maybe considering cropping the picture to have it more focused towards the veil.
Very soothing photo, I was able to see the face almost instantly and I do also agree the water falling over the face also looks like a clear sheet.
I like how smooth the sheet of water is flowing off the rock. It is a good visual of the flow going from laminar to turbulent flows.
Cool topic, and I like how you looked deeper into the woman’s face in a natural object.
Motion of the water is clearly visible, could benefit from altering colors so that different aspects of the image are more visible.
I really liked the smoothness in this picture!
I’m not sure I really see the face in this picture, but the flow looks very smooth and the image has great clarity. You can clearly see the flow physics as it rolls over the rock.
The smooth flow on top in contrast with the very turbulent flow under the rock is sweet. I also like the contrast between the left and right side of the picture.
The smooth flow over the rock without bubbles or tearing is super interesting. All in all very interesting.
Its a really good example of laminar flow and is visually appealing to look at
I think the flow could be better captured. Maybe finding more contrast in the surface of the water so the flow of the falling water is more visible.
The water quality is good, and the smooth flow is interesting. The color gradient of the rocks below the water is also cool.
The brightness is a bit much. Bringing out the ripples more without over-doing the exposure might help.
Very beautiful picture, good coloring. The flow is understandable. Focus is good for this picture. Good face.
I like the crop and focus Ryan had. I vividly shows what he was trying to capture with clearly illustrated phenomena.
This is impressive, well photographed and the sheet of water is really cool.
Very interesting image, it is interesting you can find a “face” under the water, good focus, I like the shutter speed you use.
The water in this picture is so clear and smooth. The lighting was done perfectly to avoid any glare on the water. Since the face in the rock is the focus of the picture, did you consider cropping to make that the main focus of the picture? Overall, really cool picture.
Art:
I like the face! It’s a magestic scene :D
Flow:
I like the power of the waterfall. The sheet effect is pretty cool too. I also like the spray on the right.
Photographic Technique:
Everything is pretty clear and in-focus.
Nice laminar flow, great fluid physics. Possilby do some post processing to change the contrast, maybe bring out a secondary light to brighten certain areas.
Art: The face is definitely able to be seen in this image, and the flow really does look like a veil. This is extremely creative and true y a great image. Well done.
Flow: The flow, laminar, is shown in a really nice way
Technique: Colors and cropping could be improved
I love the flow in nature. The close up approach of the water and the stream is really beautiful. I like the contrast of the smooth water in the foreground with the white water in the background.
Maybe mess with the colors to see what happens and how the flow looks with inverted colors.
The water seems so clear and then as it breaks appears to be foamy.
Interesting image, I can see where the face in the rock is and how the flow of the river appears to create a veil over that face. I like that you included the foaming at the bottom of the rapid in order to illustrate the bubbling caused by high velocity fluid collision.
I don’t see the face, but I do like the movement of the water over the rock. It almost looks like a bubble encasing the rock. I think upping the contrast in the photo would help bring out the flow in the water.
Once it was pointed out the face in the rock was really cool and then the flow of the water over the rock looks very cool. The picture was in focus and looked good.
The flow in this photo is powerful. The water is perfectly captured.
Really like how it creates contrast witb bubbles and water and rocks. The flow looms amazing where it shows the visualization of flow of clear water.
This could be cropped a little but I really like the quality of the photo!
I like the glass-like quality of the surface of the water. You’ve captured the flow pretty well down the rapids. Everything is in focus and the contrast is perfect.
I like the glass like quality of the water. You might crop out either the right of the image or the top of the image.
This is a great way to show quick flow of water. I don’t know if you noticed but the rock underneath the water kind of looks like a face. Great focus!
