I like the black and white of the gif – I agree with Abbie, I think you could increase the frame rate of the gif without us losing the ability to see what is going on. Good job!

This is really interesting and I think you did a great job using a GIF. In the future I would speed up the frame rate to make it closer to a movie so to speak.

I like the black and white. The editing work hide the focus lose and weaken the motion blur.

Interesting black and white images. Difficult to tell exactly what the experiment is but is still creates a lovely image

I like the choice of experimental setup. The black and white image well-represents the surface tension-driven flow. It has a nice expansive effect. Try using a macro lens for better focus.

I like the idea of turning it into a gif, it helps to show the progression over time. The black and white coloring really helps to accentuate the boundaries in the dye.

What is the setup of this experiment very spooky looking! What caused the interesting angles of the flow? Super cool image!!

I like the choice to go black and white. It pulls out nice contrast.

I like the clear cut background you’ve provided. It looks like a window into some kind of crazy phenomenon. Nicely done!

I like how you showed the evolution of the process in four separate images.

  • This a very interesting image. I like that you decided to go with a pure black and white image, I’m not sure how the colors looked before hand but that could be interesting to see!
